    Monday & Wednesday 8:30 am - 11:30 am, Tuesday 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm and Thursday 8:30 am - 12:00 pm. This posiiton is for 38 weeks per year. Flexibility in schedule may be required.
    Labor Grade/Zone: B2 - $14.18 per hour

  • Basic Functions & Responsibilities

    This position assists in the operation of the student testing center. Due to confidentiality, FVTC/UWO students are not eligible.

    Essential Job Functions/Secondary Job Functions


    1. Administer and monitor standardized testing sessions and collect, score, record, and report results.
    2. Proctor tests for outside organizations.
    3. Maintain security of testing materials and environment.
    4. Provide customer service by answering telephone, providing information, making referrals and responding to walk-in requests pertaining to the testing center services.
    5. Inform students and staff about policies, procedures and operations of the testing center.
    6. Orient students and instructors by demonstrating equipment and procedures in the testing center.
    7. Troubleshoot problems with the computer testing system, and refer to the appropriate technical staff.
    8. Collect and enter data for state and federal projects and grants.
    9. Prepare student attendance and testing center usage reports for the Director and internal or external partners as required.

    Qualifications, Training and Experience

    1. Bachelor’s Degree is required in order to meet Pearson Vue requirements, AND
    2. Two years of recent relevant office and customer service experience, OR
    3. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
    4. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Proficiency in PeopleSoft is preferred.
    5. Achievement of Pearson Vue certification and Pearson Vue HSED and GED test administration upon hire.
