As an initial point of contact with the college, the Admissions Specialist will champion our values of customer-centric care and student success. This position is responsible for attracting prospects, promoting FVTC and converting prospects into enrolled students. This position provides general course, program, and administrative information and guidance (Admissions, Financial Aid, and Registration) to entering students to ensure they have the resources necessary for transition to one of the College’s occupational programs. The employee will work closely with Counseling and Advising Services, Enrollment Services, Multicultural Student Services, Educational Support Services, and academic departments and programs to ensure appropriate services and resources are provided to students.
